This past Saturday, I spent another great day at The Fashion and Textile Museum with Michelle Lewis, Zandra Rhodes' pattern cutter, learning how to draft Princess seams and different sleeve styles (post coming next!). Again, it was in the same room as the Sarah Campbell exhibition and I spent a lovely lunch hour studying the panels. My favourite was the display of handpainted scarves and hankies and Sarah has sent me some professional photos taken by Eddie Lawrence - you can appreciate the mouthwatering colours yourselves! I am on tenterhooks waiting for my hankie order to arrive - will show you when it's here! You can also read more about Sarah's latest work, including the hankies here:
